BIO

Ruthie Craft channels heartbreak, life lessons, and her struggles with Tourette's syndrome into her music, creating a space where vulnerability meets empowerment. Capturing audiences with energetic, emotional performances, her cinematic pop-soul features powerful vocals, moody, soulful tones and slick lyrics evocative of Imagine Dragons, early Maroon 5, Amy Winehouse, and Dua Lipa.

In 2015, she was selected to perform with Keith Urban at the Washington State Fair for an audience of 10,000, and the experience brought her thousands of local fans. In 2018, Ruthie competed on Season 2 of American Idol on ABC, providing her with an entirely new group of national fans. Since then, she has collaborated with producers and artists across the country, and has billed with the likes of Sir-Mix-A-Lot, Shakey Graves, Wheatus, Magic City Hippies, Die Spitz, Black Joe Lewis, and Emily Wolfe.

Ruthie's cinematic pop-soul style is characterized by powerful vocals and evocative lyrics that captivate audiences, embodying her journey from a young girl in Washington to a rising star in Austin, TX. She has released multiple singles and collaborative projects, including a cover of "Can't Take My Eyes Off You" (2020) with pianist Jason Lux and vocalist Craymer, earning them over 6 million streams on Spotify.

Ruthie is currently playing shows across the country and released her debut EP, “Sound of Blue”, in September 2024.
