About the Song

Written mid-pandemic and mid-relationship, “Deja Vu” is an exploration of my intrinsic patterns and the emotional turmoil that intimately led to my autism diagnosis. Not wanting to bring yet another man down with me, the song was an attempt to clear the field and give him an out.

Producer Ryan Lau took my simple piano composition and elevated it to match the intended sentiment: dramatic, searching, angry.
